Refund policy

At Amara, we’re passionate about getting your order delivered to your door as quickly and securely as possible. Below you'll find everything you need to know about how we process and ship orders.

 


 

1. Return Eligibility

We accept returns on eligible products within 14 days of delivery. To qualify:

  • Items must be unused, unopened, and in original packaging
  • All components (e.g., caps, boxes, seals) must be intact
  • Proof of purchase is required (order number or email confirmation)

 

2. How to Start a Return

To initiate a return, email our support team at returns@amara.com with the below information. We will reply with return instructions, including the return shipping address and any labels if applicable.

  • Your full name and order number
  • The item(s) you’d like to return
  • Reason for return
  • Any supporting photos if the item is damaged or incorrect

 

3. Return Shipping

  • Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the product was incorrect or defective
  • We recommend using a trackable shipping method to ensure safe delivery
  • Amara is not responsible for items lost in return transit

 

4. Refunds

Once we receive and inspect your return:

  • If approved, a refund will be issued to your original payment method
  • Processing time: 5–7 business days after return approval
  • You’ll receive an email confirmation once the refund is issued

Please note that original shipping fees are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error.

 

5. Exchanges

We currently do not offer direct exchanges. If you need a different item or shade, we recommend returning the item for a refund and placing a new order.

 

6. Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items

If you receive an item that’s damaged, defective, or not what you ordered, please contact us within 7 days of delivery with:

  • A photo of the issue
  • Your order number
  • A description of the problem

We will prioritize these issues and do our best to resolve them promptly — either through a replacement, store credit, or refund.

 

7. Late or Missing Refunds

If you haven’t received your refund:

  • Check your bank or credit card statement again
  • Contact your payment provider (some banks take longer to process refunds)
  • If it’s been more than 10 business days and the issue persists, email returns@amara.com
